Pain Relieving CreamPain relieving cream has been on the market for many years. It is a favorite of athletes, laborers and anyone who overdoes the activities of daily life. The cream usually is applied after the fact in order to relieve the aches and pains of muscles. This type of cream can also be used to relieve the pain and inflammation of arthritis.

Some of the creams available today can be used during the daytime, since they are not greasy and do not stain clothing. Other lotions and creams are used during the night time hours since they may have a stronger smell. Menthol is a popular fragrance for Pain Relieving Creams. In most instances, the cream is rubbed into the affected muscles or joint area so that it doesn’t sit on the surface of the skin.

For those suffering from arthritis or similar ailments affecting the joints, a cream or lotion that relieves pain is important, but it may also need to reduce the amount of inflammation in the area. Inflammation can be due to toxins remaining in the muscles surrounding an affected joint. The action of the cream stimulates blood flow to the area so that the toxins are carried away through the natural circulatory processes of the body.

The action of massaging the cream or lotion into the skin can be another factor that makes this type of remedy even more effective. The physical massage helps to improve blood circulation to the area of pain, thus removing toxins and allowing the muscles to heal themselves. Often when the underlying circulatory system is stimulated it relaxes joints and muscles overused by athletes and laborers. When the pain is lessened, the individual can more more freely, so the benefits of improved circulation continue.

A non-prescription pain relieving cream should be in the medicine cabinet of every household. If you prefer natural remedies, read the labels on over-the-counter medications. Many of these items are based on the remedies going back to ancient healing arts.

Have you tried progesterone cream to relieve your FMS. It’s reduced my chronic pain by two-thirds.?

My chronic fibromyalgia was triggered after major surgery a year ago but I already had signs of it before and members of my immediate family also have it. In New Zealand we have a natural hormone therapy clinic who put me on clinically produced natural progesterone. It is only obtained by GP prescription here. My saliva readings of the progesterone were very low and my latest, while taking a high dose of the cream, was low but we think all of this grand-parent hormone may be staying in my FMS muscles. Recently I took myself off it (afterall, it’s been a year) as I hate being dependent on anything but after five days the pain returned with a vengence. Within hours of applying the cream, my pain subsided.
I had a medium tell me my pain was not muscle but bone and that it was stored emotional pain. I’ve been doing meditation and visiting my skeltons – releasing emotions also seems to relieve the pain. Have you also noticed how the pain is aggravated by exercise. I’m working on balance.

No I have not tried progesterone cream. However, Fibromyalgia like Rheumatoid Arthritis and Psoriasis can be seriously affected by the monthly hormone changes. Therefore I was put on evening primrose oil to regulate the hormones and that really has helped with all my health problems. Some females get PMS, various physical and mental problems, while some seem to sail through months with no problems whatsoever. I am now finished with monthly problems and have noticed that the Psoriasis is better, go figure. As for releasing emotions, it is important for us to resolve problems rather than carry them around like access baggage. As for exercise, yes while it does aggravate pain, the day after, I tend to be full of energy, so in my book it is worth doing. Balance in every aspect of life, is crucial. Good Luck
